First Lesson Review

After reviewing the recording of my first attempt at teaching the class, I have noticed several areas in my presentation that need improvement. My relaxed demeanor comes across as being unenthusiastic. To correct this, I need to excite myself before future lessons and focus on making sure that my inflection is loud. I should become more active in my body language and move in a way that will captivate my audience more effectively. The lesson itself could be improved by placing the focus on one cue rather than incorporating every component of the jump-shot at once. Furthermore, I should chose an activity that allows every participant to feel comfortable and not feel as if everyone can evaluate their skill level.
